Efiya Asabi: We feature luxurious handcrafted artisan skin and hair products. We are best known for our high quality yet competitively priced “body essentials.” We offer products for the body, face, feet, hair. Our products are tastefully scented and made fresh every week.

NewNaturalista: How long have you been making soaps and other goodies?

Asabi: I started making soap about 17 years ago because my son was diagnosed with eczema. His physician prescribed him a steroid and after doing a little research I knew that I wouldn’t use the prescription on him. It started me on a journey of trying to discover what I could create that would help to soothe or possibly cure his condition. After getting positive results for my baby, I started to give the soap to family and friends as gifts. They began giving it to their friends and coworkers. That is when I began getting requests and people wanting to purchase the soap. The business began to blossom from there.
