You’d think it would be easy for me to find a stylish trench rain coat here in Seattle, but no! Everything is so REI – which isn’t bad, (REI is an awesome store for the hiking, biking and rowing types) it’s just not me. So I was so happy to receive A Green With Envy trench rain coat from my mom in the mail!
The lining is vegetable drum dyed and the company donates 1 percent of Green With Envy’s yearly earnings to 1% For The Planet. I think the best part is that once you’re done with it, you can send the coat back and the company says it will recycle it. There’s no credit towards a new item so I don’t know how returning it is better than donating it to my local Good Will. Oh well, I guess their intentions are good and I still like the coat!
